Davey Jones is the scion of many farming generations and was raised on a beef cattle farm and vineyard in North East Victoria. Machines were his true passion from early childhood and Davey became a qualified diesel mechanic and professional machine operator after finishing school.

Davey Jones is the scion of many farming generations and was raised on a beef cattle farm and vineyard in North East Victoria. Machines were his true passion from early childhood and Davey became a qualified diesel mechanic and professional machine operator after finishing school.
After having further developed his skills, knowledge and experience working for two established earthmoving contractors, a friend loaned Davey a Caterpillar D6 to try his hand at going out on his own. Davey never looked back and over the years has built up an impeccable reputation for his outstanding ability and expertise in the business. Davey also has a hands-on understanding of what is required with regard to the industry standards, including the safety, legal and environmental regulations. Last but not least, he puts the importance of communication, integrity and the client’s wishes and expectations first and is always proud to earn their respect and friendship.
Having always driven tractors, earthmoving and vineyard machinery at home, Davey’s plan never wavered from becoming an agricultural and civil contractor, employing only top-class operators to work with him.
